Happy New Year!!! 🎉

This year, I made a resolution to read at least 12 books. That’s one book every month, and I’m super excited about it. Books have a unique way of encouraging us to see the world through different lenses. They fuel our imagination, challenge our thinking.

Guess what? It’s only January 5th, and I’ve already finished my first book—The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho!

I decided to start my reading journey with fiction, and The Alchemist was the perfect choice. It’s a story about following your dreams and trusting the journey. The book made me think a lot about life and how important it is to believe in myself.

The following are the key take aways from the Book

  • There is power in committing to your path - When you want something all the universe conspires in helping you achieve.

  • Don’t let yourself be fooled - When the boy got robbed, he thinks that he is also like others, he saw the world in terms of what he would like to see happen, not what actually did.

  • Embrace now - We all know this at some level that yesterday is gone, we don’t guarenteed tomorrow we need to focus on the moment. Be present.

  • Allow yourself to dream - It’s the possibility of having dreams come true which makes life interesting. Don’t limit yourself according to what might seem impossible today.

Reading this book felt magical, and it inspired me to keep chasing my goals this year. I can’t wait to pick up my next book Shoe Dog by Phil Knight

If you have any book recommendations, feel free to share them with me 💛…
